Dr. April R. King, OD, has been providing comprehensive eye care to patients in the Gadsden and Rainbow City communities since 2007. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating cum laude with honors, and went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from UAB.

As a member of both the Alabama Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, Dr. King is committed to staying current with advances in eye care and vision technology. She has a special interest in comprehensive eye health, utilizing modern diagnostic technology to help detect and manage ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease. She also enjoys helping children through myopia management as well as providing personalized vision care for patients of all ages.
